'The Snowy Day' Small World Play ( PROMO CLASS )

We're combining two of our favorites - books and small world play - into this special workshop series. 

Join us each 5th Monday of the month as we create a small world based on one of our favorite authors. Promoting literacy, creativity, social-emotional development, and more, we'll expand upon the small world described in our book to create our own kid-approved versions to take home. 

Ideal ages : 2 - 4 years old (with caregiver, siblings welcome with their own tickets) 

Some classes include swallowable materials - so use your judgement when signing up. 

What are we making?!

'The Snowy Day' Small World

• Creating worlds inspired by 'The Snowy Day' by Ezra Jack Keats
• Choosing and discussing materials to expand our world
• Each small world can be taken home

What’s included in Small World Play?

• Admission for 1 child (ages 2 - 4yr) - includes playtime at Little Sprouts during class
• Community story time - featuring, imagining, and discussing the world displayed in our story of the morning
• Variety of materials to create our own, individual small worlds
• Child-led building - inspired by our story of the morning
• Exploration time to pretend play in our worlds
• Completed small world to take home
• Play sheets to take home

Each program is private (aka. open play is closed during class). Tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to other friends.
